How to Discover Your True Passion

We often live our days on autopilot.
We meet obligations, follow routines… but rarely stop to ask if what we’re doing truly matters to us.
And when that question finally arrives, it can shake us deeply.

Job or vocation?

Some people see their job as just a source of income.
They’re not passionate about it, but it doesn’t bother them either.
They don’t expect fulfillment —just stability.

But others experience work as a reflection of identity, a vehicle for change, a way to contribute.
When they feel misaligned with their inner purpose, deep discomfort arises.

Have we forgotten how to dream?

It’s possible that, over time, we stopped dreaming.
As children, we dreamed freely and wildly.
We imagined being astronauts, dancers, scientists, explorers… just for the joy of imagining.

Becoming adults shouldn’t mean we stop dreaming.
But often, that’s what happens.

The good news is: this capacity can return.
Like a muscle that responds to gentle, consistent motion, the soul responds to the permission to dream.

A simple (and powerful) exercise

Someone once suggested this:
write down 5 to 10 jobs you would have liked to do if you weren’t doing what you do now.

At first, nothing might come.
You may hear practical objections like:
“I don’t know how,” “I’d need a degree,” “It’s not realistic…”

But if you keep going, if you let your heart play for a moment, you may be surprised.
You may reconnect with forgotten parts of yourself.
It’s not about changing your whole life —it’s about remembering what moves you.

Sometimes, just by dreaming, we realise that what we already do isn’t so bad… and can be lived with more soul.

Dreaming doesn’t bind. It frees.

A dream doesn’t need to be fulfilled to matter.
Sometimes, it simply wants to be dreamed.
Giving it space can bring clarity, relief, direction.

What if your passion is closer than you thought?
What if your true passion isn’t something outside you —but a way of being more awake in what you already do?

A space to recover your inner voice

If you feel something in you wants to shift but you don’t know where to start,
Gestalt therapy can help you reignite your creativity, your dreams, and your sense of direction.

There are no formulas.
Only presence, deep listening, and questions that open possibilities.

And maybe, your true passion is waiting for you to dream it again.

Do you want to keep exploring?

If this topic resonates with you, you might be interested in opening up space to talk about it in a session. Each process is unique, and it can be helpful to pause, reflect, and put words to what you’re experiencing.
